Summary Gratiano and Salarino are at the masked event. They are waiting for Lorenzo. He arrives, late. Jessica too arrives, in boys' clothes. They profess their love for one another. She is embarrassed by her attire and he reassures her. She goes to get more money and returns. Antonio enters and announces that the masque party is cancelled because there is good wind for sailing and they must depart for Belmont immediately.
